Editorial policy
The TeleRanks blog publishes practical guides for people who use, grow and buy for social and messaging platforms. This page explains how those articles are made and how to reach us when something is wrong.
How topics are chosen
We write about questions people actually search for. Topics come from search-demand data and from the questions our customers ask, and we check what already ranks so each article answers the question more completely than the pages that exist today.
How articles are written
Articles are researched and drafted with the help of AI tools, working from the current search results, official platform documentation and our own product knowledge. Every article then goes through automated checks before it is published: the answer must come first, claims must be specific, every statistic must link to its original source, links must resolve, and pages that fail are held back instead of published.
Bylines
Each byline is the editor responsible for that topic area. Some editors publish under a pen name. Each one has a profile page that lists every article they are responsible for.
Sources and statistics
We prefer primary sources: platform help centres, official announcements and original studies. Numbers are only stated when a source can be linked, and prices are dated because they change.
Commercial relationship
TeleRanks sells products related to some of the topics we cover. When an article mentions them, it says so plainly, in a clearly labelled section, and it never claims that a service is risk-free or guaranteed.
Updates and corrections
We review published articles regularly and update them when platforms, prices or rules change; the date at the top shows the latest revision. If you find an error, contact us through the main site and we will correct it.
